Join the Nature Trust of New Brunswick at the beautiful Noloqonokek Nature Preserve in Maugerville as we work to restore the natural habitat which was used as pastureland until 2021. The trees we plant will help to strengthen the soil and prevent erosion of the land, as well as enrich the soil to promote biodiversity. Come get your hands dirty while you gain knowledge on the importance of habitat restoration!
This event can also count towards the Restoration Corps: Tree Planting certification of the Ambassador Program. To learn more about the program, click here.
This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather. This is a very hands-on, work-heavy event.
What to Bring:
Work gloves
Sturdy footwear

Sunscreen and bug spray
Shovel or trowel (optional)
The Nature Trust of New Brunswick acknowledges that the preserves which we protect are located on the traditional territories of the Wabanaki peoples.
