Engagement is an integral part of our organization. The Nature Trust began as a grassroots organization, led by dedicated volunteers, and we continue to do our important work because of volunteers of all ages and abilities.
Creating awareness around the importance of land conservation, New Brunswick’s natural heritage, biodiversity, and species at risk is a large part of our organization’s outreach. We do this by connecting with individuals and communities throughout the province and offering free, public events such as paddling excursions, hikes through preserve trails, and art in nature campaigns, while promoting responsible recreation in New Brunswick residents and visitors.
The Nature Trust is proud of the partnerships we’ve developed with landowners, universities, other conservation and non-governmental organizations, indigenous communities, governments, and businesses to raise awareness about the critical habitats we protect in New Brunswick.
By engaging with the public through our conservation work, our ultimate goal is to help New Brunswickers and other visitors of all ages to discover our conserved spaces, and to responsibly appreciate the beautiful natural areas New Brunswick has to offer.
Participate in one of our many free events by visiting our Upcoming Events page.
*Though our events are free, we do accept donations of $5 or more for those who want to support the stewardship efforts of our nature preserves.
