 The Pea Point Gazebo Speaker Series is a Nature Trust volunteer led initiative, which welcomes speakers from all backgrounds to share and discuss the ecological significance of the Bay of Fundy, conservation efforts in Charlotte County, and developing positive interrelationships between the natural environment, the community and industry.

On Saturday, September 3rd, as part of the Blacks Harbour Fog Fest, we invite you to attend the Eastern Charlotte Waterways Open House from 10:00am-2:00pm, at 868 Main Street, Blacks Harbour. From 1:00-2:00pm, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from Briana Cowie (Eastern Charlotte Waterways – Executive Director) and Collette Lemieux (Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development). Refreshments will be provided!

Following the talks, please join us for a guided nature walk from 2:30pm-3:30pm through the trails of the Connors Bros. Nature Preserve at Pea Point, led by Pea Point Volunteers and Stewards, Jasmin Tompkins and Ernie Edwards.

This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.

What to bring:

  • Closed toes shoes or rainboots

  • Appropriate clothing for weather

  • Water

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug spray and/or bug net
