Description: Learn about trail building and maintenance with trail building expert, Eric Hadley, at the Seymour Woodlands Nature Preserve!

At this event you will learn about trail planning, building, and maintenance, while walking and clearing the trail on the preserve. The Seymour Woodlands Nature Preserve has a 2km trail which threads through a mixed hardwood and softwood forest stand, over and along a stream, and under a mature hemlock stand.

This full day event counts towards certification in Trail Blazer.

This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.

What to Bring:

• Water and a lunch

• Appropriate work attire and footwear

• Smartphone – with Avenza app downloaded
