Description: Learn about maintenance with trail building experts from the Elgin Eco Association at the Mapleton Acadian Forest Nature Preserve! The Elgin Eco Association is based in Elgin, New Brunswick and works to promote environmentally friendly practices within their community.

At this event you will learn about trail maintenance and species identification while walking and clearing the trail on the preserve. The Mapleton Acadian Forest Nature Preserve has a 3km trail of mixed hardwood forest, stream beds and vibrant ferns.

This event counts towards certification in Trail Blazer.

This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.
