We need your help in cleaning up a portion of Pendleton Island, a beautiful uninhabited piece of land in the south of New Brunswick. At this day-long event, we will be removing garbage that has washed up on shore. If you are looking for an opportunity to give some TLC to a local New Brunswick island while enjoying breathtaking views, this is the event for you!
Provisions and equipment list:
Moderate fitness level is required.
May involve light bushwhacking and rough trail conditions.
No toilets on site.
Tools provided by Nature Conservancy of Canada
Items the volunteer needs to bring:
Full packed lunch/snacks
Water
Work gloves
Layers of clothing
Sturdy hiking/walking boots
Rain gear (in case)
Bug spray
Sunscreen
