WALTER EMRICH
TREASURER
Walter joined the Board in 2012 after volunteering for the Nature Trust in various other capacities. He has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of New Brunswick (1980) and an MBA from Concordia University (1984). After starting his career in Northern Ontario with Spruce Falls Power and Paper, he moved back to New Brunswick and worked as a Growth and Yield analyst and Management Planner for J.D. Irving Woodlands. He is currently retired and enjoying his volunteering with the Trust and his family, including five grand children.

Favourite Nature Preserve: Caughey-Taylor Nature Preserve. This is Walter’s favourite due to its wide range of habitats and vistas, from mountain top to rugged shoreline.
