Description: Join local birders Delaney Brooks and Cassandra Colwell as they teach us how to identify different waterfowl species at the beautiful Saints Rest Marsh Nature Preserve. Cassandra will start the event by leading an interactive explanation of the Maritime Marsh Monitoring Program with Birds Canada, and will be followed-up by an exploration of bird identification skills with Delaney.

This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.

Materials to bring:

·         Binoculars

·         Bird ID book (optional)

·         A notebook and pencil

·         Water and snacks

·         Sunscreen and bug spray
