 The Pea Point Gazebo Speaker Series is a Nature Trust volunteer led initiative, which welcomes speakers from all backgrounds to share and discuss the ecological significance of the Bay of Fundy, conservation efforts in Charlotte County, and developing positive interrelationships between the natural environment, the community and industry.

 The Saturday, August 20th session will include talks from Mayor John Craig (Blacks Harbour), Stephanie Merrill (Nature Trust of New Brunswick - CEO), and Walter Emrich (Nature Trust of New Brunswick – Board of Directors).

 The session will take place after the Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup at the Pea Point Gazebo in Blacks Harbour. You are welcome to join us for a cleanup (please visit the Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup page to register), followed by the Volunteer Appreciation BBQ at the Pea Point Gazebo at 4:00pm, and the speaking event at 4:30pm.

This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.

What to bring:

  • Closed toes shoes or rainboots (should visitors decide to walk the preserve trails after the speaker series)

  • Appropriate clothing for weather

  • Water

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug spray and/or bug net
