Terrain Description: This workshop does not involve hiking and will take place in an open field next to the parking area. The ground can be uneven in places.
Difficulty: Easy
Description: Learn more about monarch butterflies and contribute to a national monitoring program alongside Nature NB at the scenic Margaret (Coburn) Cameron Woods Nature Preserve. Participants will have the opportunity to learn identification techniques for eggs and larvae, and practice monitoring skills in an accessible field on the preserve.
This event will be hosted outdoors at the Margaret (Coburn) Cameron Woods Nature Preserve, so please dress according to the weather.
Mobility challenges? You will still be able to attend the identification portion of our workshop!
