Description: Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is an incredibly invasive woody-stemmed species that is an aggressive spreader and is a threat to forest biodiversity and even building foundations. You’ll learn how to identify Japnese knotweed and how to manage it as best as possible (unfortunately it’s nearly impossible to eradicate)!
This event counts towards certification in Restoration Corps: Invasive Species Removal.
This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.
