Description: Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolate) and Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica) are both invasive species that are aggressive forest invader that threaten biodiversity.
Managing invasive species is an important part of stewardship and at this event, you’ll learn how to identify garlic mustard and Japanese knotweed and how to best manage and remove them from the property.
This event counts towards certification in Restoration Corps: Invasive Species Removal.
This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.
