Terrain Description: A 2.6km well-packed, flat trail in a wetland habitat. The trail may be wet in some places and the group will stop frequently for observations. The group will start in an open field before completing the trail.

Description: Join the New Brunswick Invasive Species Council at the Hyla Park Nature Preserve for an informative workshop on terrestrial invasive species in New Brunswick. The group will start by learning about different invasive plants and field guides before embarking on a short walk throughout the park to use newly acquired identification and removal techniques.
This event will be hosted outdoors at the Hyla Park Nature Preserve, so please dress according to the weather.
Mobility challenges? You will still be able to attend the identification portion of our workshop! We can bring some plant samples right to the parking lot.
