SCOTT LLOY
DIRECTOR
Scott has dedicated much of his adult life to advancing environmental sustainability through a combination of education, professional work, and volunteering. In 2001, Scott began his career in the environmental sector with a local environmental engineering consulting firm, and in 2002 he joined the Department of Environment and Local Government, where he held a variety of positions in the environmental sector. In 2022, Scott joined the Regional Development Corporation, managing funding programs focused on community infrastructure and housing.
Along the way Scott completed his Master of Chemical Engineering degree (Environmental Studies) and has held leadership roles with various environmental organizations such as the Canadian Water Network, Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Association, Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Voluntary Certification Program, Commission des Égouts d’Allardville and Environment Funders Canada.
Scott has a long-standing commitment to volunteering in his community. He has served as an In-School Mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters, helped organize United Way campaigns, and coached many youth sports teams. In 2023, he joined the Marysville Y’s Service Club to further support local initiatives and contribute to his community.
In his free time, Scott enjoys hiking, paddling and biking in the quiet places in New Brunswick. He also plays soccer with fellow ‘Old Boys’ (and Girls) and cherishes spending quality time with his family.
