AIDEN PLUTA (he/him/il)
CONSERVATION COORDINATOR

Born and raised in Salisbury, New Brunswick, Aiden has always had an appreciation for his home province and loves to see what the east coast has to offer. This has driven him to explore as much of New Brunswick by foot, bike, and paddle as possible. These opportunities to see the diversity within New Brunswick have instilled in him the importance of conserving the province’s natural environment.

His interest in conservation has led Aiden to pursue a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership with a minor in Environmental Management from the University of New Brunswick. Aiden has experience in the environmental sector through past roles in engagement as well as marketing and was excited to join the Nature Trust in May 2021 as a Conservation Planning Intern through the Canadian Conservation Corps. He has now joined the team as Conservation Technician.

Favourite Nature Preserve: The view up the Kennebecasis River from Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is one that everyone should have the opportunity to see and instantly won it the title of Aiden’s favourite nature preserve.
