Dear friend of the Nature Trust,

First, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and are taking care during these challenging times. We want to assure you that our organization is committed to collectively slowing the spread of COVID-19 through various actions to ensure we keep our community safe.

Based on the federal and provincial government's recommendations, we have decided to cancel our remaining Passport to Nature events and other group events until further notice. We will keep you informed on the status of future Passport to Nature and stewardship events scheduled in the upcoming months.

Our organization will continue to run business as usual. However, our office is closed to the public until further notice. We are still available to answer any questions that you may have moving forward. You can connect with us by sending an email to renata.woodward@ntnb.org or by calling (506) 261-1260.

We have asked our staff to work from home or remotely for the time being. We have also cancelled travel and in-person meetings until further notice. Instead, we will be conducting all meetings over tele/video conferencing. Please be assured that we are working hard to continue the advancement of several of our conservation projects to protect New Brunswick's beautiful and diverse natural spaces.

Our 62 nature preserves throughout the province will remain open to the public. While we all are practicing social distancing, we must prioritize our mental and physical health by getting outside and into nature for at least 30 minutes a day. We hope these nature preserves will provide you with some comfort during this critical time.

We wish to extend our deepest gratitude to all donors, supporters, and partners for remaining dedicated to our organization and our efforts in protecting New Brunswick's biodiversity. In uncertain times like these, where our work is heavily dependent on grants, foundations, and the generosity of others, we are humbled to continue to receive your support.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will adjust accordingly. Stay up to date with our decisions by visiting our website or by following our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram).

We hope you stay healthy and safe in the upcoming weeks. We look forward to seeing you out in nature soon.

Yours in conservation,
